About this Talk
Over many years the roles of the library, within a community, has changed and adapted base on the needs of that community; but one of our core services remains lending materials to patrons. This session will review a study of Public Library use, outline the current status of Parkland's regional collection as a whole, look into market sales statistics, and then discuss different tends, methods, and considerations for purchasing materials for a library’s collection.
