About this talk

Alberta public libraries have access to two national services that support them in serving their patrons with print disabilities: the National Network for Equitable Library Service (NNELS) and the Centre for Equitable Library Access (CELA). These unique but complementary organizations are known for their robust collections of accessible-format titles and their support for public libraries. But did you also know that NNELS and CELA are working together to build a nation-wide resource centre of training materials and resources for public library staff about accessibility in all areas of library service, including procurement and acquisition, cataloguing, and public services for end users? Attend this session to learn more about the services of NNELS and CELA and all the new accessibility training opportunities for library staff and boards.
